Who are we?
So you want to write a book. Well, we help great experts and great entrepreneurs become great authors. We’ll even help you publish your book, if you wish.
We are a former Financial Times columnist (Jacqueline) and a business school professor teaching at London Business School (Steven). We wrote the bestselling Seven Failings of Really Useless Leaders, which you might have come across.
When we’re not writing or publishing books, we multitask as wife and husband, mother and father, theatregoers (in a pre-Covid life) and weekend birdwatchers. We even wrote a book about that… The Bluffers Guide to Birdwatching.
What they’re saying
Working on the Authors Program has made the vision of my book more concrete. It’s no longer just this book. It’s now 10 or 11 chapters long, written for a certain audience and it has a storyline. Those elements that you facilitated were really critical in terms of turning my vision into a reality. From the start I really felt more confident. You guys have a great process. What a journey we have been on! I feel transformed, accomplished, and relieved!

Author, The New Leaders of ChangeI am overwhelmed and deeply grateful. I would like to reference some wow moments in my discussion with you – in fact, my publisher was extremely gracious. Even after submission of the final manuscript I went back to them with a note that Steven Sonsino has recommended changes… and guess what, they agreed! You are genuinely a class apart.
Alok Sinha
Former CEO, Capita IndiaYou have blazed the trail in marketing an individual. We’re very familiar with product marketing, but people are always leery about marketing themselves because it translates into a sense of arrogance. But you have laid the groundwork for those of us who are trying to understand how to market our own selves. Your coaching techniques are practical, they are simple to implement and they give those of us that are individuals hope, because people seem to be very resistant to individuals ‘self-marketing’.
